Katy VA Outpatient Clinic Ribbon Cutting – April 22, 2013 The Michael E. DeBakey Veterans Affairs Medical Center will hold a special Ribbon Cutting Ceremony officially opening its new VA Outpatient Clinic in Katy on Monday, April 22, 2013 at 11 a.m. The event is open to the public, tours will be available, and refreshments will be served. Seating will be limited so please be prepared to stand during the short ceremony. The new VA Outpatient Clinic, a nearly 30,000 square-foot facility, is located inside the Mann Eye Institute building at 750 Westgreen Blvd., Katy, Texas 77450. The space is brand new and the clinic will be staffed by highly qualified and experienced VA physicians, nurses, technicians, and administrative staff. The clinic, open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. beginning Tuesday, April 23, 2013, will provide primary health care, mental health care, and women’s specialty care in addition to laboratory, X-ray, telemedicine, teleretinal imaging, pharmacy, optometry, and audiology services. Emergency medication needs will be met on a local contract basis.
