Dov Kadmon, M.D.
Listed as one of the best doctors in the nation in the field of urology, Dov Kadmon, M.D. is the assistant chief of Urology at the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center. Board certified in urology, he has special expertise in prostate cancer. Kadmon obtained his medical degree from the Hebrew University Hadassah Medical School in Jerusalem, Israel. He performed a surgery residency and a urology residency at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Mo. Kadmon is the co-leader of the Prostate Cancer Program for the Cancer Center at Baylor College of Medicine, has won CapCure Awards for Research in Prostate Cancer, and is a consultant to the NCI Study Section on Clinical Oncology. He has special interests in prostate cancer, urologic oncology, and prostate cancer surgery. His research interests include gene therapy and immunotherapy (vaccines) for prostate cancer, biological therapy in prostate cancer, and prevention of prostate cancer. Kadmon is also a professor in the Scott Department of Urology at Baylor College of Medicine.
