The 30th Annual National Veterans Golden Age Games (NVGAG) will take place July 10-14, 2016, in Detroit, Michigan.

The NVGAG is the premier senior adaptive rehabilitation program in the United States, and the only national multi-event sports and recreational seniors’ competition program designed to improve the quality of life for all older Veterans, including those with a wide range of abilities and disabilities. The VA Challenges and encourages senior Veterans to be proactive in embracing a healthier lifestyle.

The competition features sports such as swimming, cycling, golf, track and field, bowling, air rifle, table tennis and much more.  Events are open to all U.S. military Veterans age 55 or older who are currently receiving care at any VA medical facility.
