New Conroe VA Outpatient Clinic
The Houston VA is proud to announce the opening of our new Conroe VA Outpatient Clinic on Monday, November 23rd. Opening the new, much larger clinic location is part of the VA’s plan to expand health care services for Veterans in the area.
“We are thrilled to begin seeing patients in our new Conroe clinic location this month,” said Adam Walmus, Director of the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center in Houston. “We are committed to bringing our top quality health care out close to where our Veterans live.
The new Conroe VA Outpatient Clinic will be located at:
690 South Loop 336 West
Third and Fourth Floors
Conroe, TX 77304
Tel: (936) 522-4000
The new clinic is less than one mile away from its current location and is three times larger than the current Conroe Clinic. The new larger clinic will allow the VA to better serve Veteran’s health care needs. In addition, many new specialty care services will be available in the new clinic location, including optometry, audiology, radiology, laboratory and much more over time.
The week of November 16 through November 20, 2015, the current Conroe clinic will be closed for the move. To ensure continuity of care during that week, Veterans that go to the clinic will be directed to the Tomball VA Outpatient Clinic located at: 1200 W Main Street, Tomball, TX 77375, Tel: (281) 516-1505. Veterans are encouraged to contact their healthcare teams with any health-related questions or concerns prior to November 16th so that they can be addressed in advanced if possible.
All Veterans and members of the community are invited to attend a special ribbon cutting to celebrate the opening of the new Conroe Clinic location on Friday, December 4th at 10:00 a.m. at the clinic. Congressman Kevin Brady will be present, along with VA officials, to officially cut the ribbon. For more information about the Conroe Ribbon Cutting and the new clinic, call 713-794-7349.
