The Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center (MEDVAMC) will kick off Veterans Day weekend early with a special ceremony honoring the men and women who have served in the United States Armed Forces. Veterans from all five branches of the U.S. military will be honored at the ceremony. U.S. Army Veteran and former Vietnam POW Ken Wallingford, along with MEDVAMC Director Francisco Vazquez will speak at the ceremony, which will also feature a local high school JROTC Color Guard. The McDonald’s Owner/Operators Association of Greater Houston will serve hundreds of FREE sandwiches.
